This is a kit, it is inspired by the flag raisings during the battle for Iwo Jima, Feb. 23, 1945. Members of the United States Marines and Navy raised the flags on the island of Iwo Jima. This diorama is an interpretation of the moment and a tribute to all those who fought. This diorama is a part of the VFM Heroes collection. The diorama kit comes unpainted and will need to be put together. Modeling skills are required to put this together. Pieces include: Base, figures, flag on pole and hands. Stands roughly 4 inches tall. Assembly is required, only attempt if you are skillfull with drilling and glueing small objects. Adult supervision required. Contains very small parts.
